Stonal
Long before the ChatGPT hype, Stonal had an audacious plan: get the real estate industry talking about AI.
Stonal provides significant owners and managers of real estate assets with reliable data on their properties. It’s no secret the industry has a data quality issue. But using artificial general intelligence, Stonal helps firms not just collect data, but use it to increase liquidity for owners and asset managers.

Real estate is a risk averse sector. AI was starting to make waves around the world. Stonal needed to find a way to capitalise on this momentum but for an audience that follows rather than leads. How do we educate this traditional industry about something it doesn’t even understand?

CEO interviews scheduled
Industry whitepapers come and go. This one needed to pack some punch. Rather than it feeling produced by Stonal, we tapped into our network and brought in collaborators – heavyweight thought leaders sharing their expertise from across the industry such as RICS, University of Oxford and Savills.
Educate, don’t sell
Most asset owners have enough to worry about, let alone a new technology that’s ripe for taking over certain jobs. We knew we had to bridge the gap between educating from a low starting point and being clear about the practical applications.
Collaborators take the lead
Bloxspring used its strong industry connections and invited executives from across the industry. We ran a series of short interviews to extract core insights and turned those into a narrative that both informed and gave readers a practical take.
Gave the press a sneak peek
Launching a ‘first of its kind’ report usually drums up some buzz. This was no different. Jumping on the hype of OpenAI’s release of ChatGPT, we leveraged our media contacts to secure interviews with the CEO and a first opportunity to see the report.
As a French Proptech firm with limited brand equity in the UK, Stonal were able to use this industry report as a brand building initiative that generated demand and became a springboard for unlocking pilot projects with a large asset owner.
The launch month saw a wave of downloads and new business opportunities emerge. But the real surprise came many months after – people were still downloading it.
