The Brief

At the start of 2020, Checkboard (formerly Cubic Lease) was a relatively unknown player in the residential referencing space. Bloxspring was appointed to help with the firm’s positioning, press and business development strategy, with a view to securing funding and boosting the sales pipeline.

The Outcome

Within two months, Bloxspring had secured a feature piece about Cubic Lease in Estates Gazette, amongst other coverage, and a headline speaking slot at PlaceTech’s residential webinar. The firm’s new messaging and sales approach also helped secure marquee clients including Romans Estate, as well as complete a first-ever funding round.
